WSA is pleased to announce that two esteemed organizations have joined our membership:
- The Alianza de Bebidas Espirituosas de Latinoamérica y el Caribe (ABELAC), a regional trade association representing the interests of the spirits sector in Latin America and the Caribbean
- The American Distilled Spirits Alliance (ADSA), a group of industry leaders in manufacturing, importing, and marketing of distilled spirits in the United States and around the world. The organisation represents hundreds of spirits brands and over 60% of all distilled spirits sales in the US.
About ABELAC
ABELAC is a regional trade association dedicated to being a driving force for sustainability and responsibility in the distilled-spirits sector in Latin America and the Caribbean. ABELAC provides a collaborative forum in the region to facilitate and enhance discussions on policies and guidelines tied to sustainability and responsibility in the distilled-spirits sector.
About ASDA
ADSA is a coalition of industry leaders who manufacture, import, and market distilled spirits in the United States and internationally, representing hundreds of spirits brands and over 60% of all distilled spirits sales in the US.
ADSA members’ contribution across the nation cannot be downplayed, with products and tax revenues in every state and almost every Congressional district. Many ADSA members’ businesses are family-owned and operated, with several spanning multiple generations. ADSA’s mission is to advocate for a transparent and dynamic marketplace that empowers consumers with a diverse selection of distilled spirits. Members of ASDA are equally committed to doing business in a responsible manner and support state policies that support the moderate consumption of distilled-spirits.
