July 2025 – Geneva, Switzerland

The World Spirits Alliance members met from July 8-11, 2025, for the Annual Event and General Assembly.  The WSA welcomed 5 new members to the membership, listed as follows in alphebatical order: Alianza de Bebidas Espirituosas de Latinoamérica y el Caribe, American Distilled Spirits Alliance, Heaven Hill Brands, Fédération des Exportateurs de Vins & Spiritueux de France (F.E.V.S.) and SALBA (South African Liquor Brand Owners Association)!

It was a busy yet extremely fruitful programme over the week, where members shared industry learnings and best practices, with specialised plenary sessions on topics such as the global trade landscape, alcohol policy, consumer trends, and regional updates by invited experts to the event.

The WSA delegation also had productive bilateral meetings with 24 of the Missions here in Geneva, which members always welcome in continuing the close dialogue and partnership with our stakeholders here. We also welcomed the diplomatic corps at our annual cocktaill reception, held within the Geneva botanic gardens for a vibrant time of reconnecting and refreshment.
