WSA Academy Organises Capacity Building Workshop for Member Trade Associations

For Our Members
Responsibility
WSA Academy

The WSA Academy was delighted to organise a capacity building workshop for trade association members over a breakfast session during the WSA Annual Event in July. Our members were treated to a buffet of best-practices presentations to share various resources and tools to help equip industry colleagues on topics such as membership management and engagement, as well as case studies on the implementation of sustainability and responsibility campaigns across regions.

We would like to thank our WSA Academy Committee lead Via Dulay, Director of Communications and Public Affairs, Spirits Canada, for driving this session, together with presenters Carole Brigaudeau, Communications Director, spiritsEUROPE; Nicholas Grant, Head of International Tax Policy, Diageo; Stuart Eke, Head of Public Affairs for Northern and Central Europe, Brown-Forman and special guest speaker Chairman Song of the China Alcoholic Drinks Association (CADA).

We hope members benefited from the insightful sharing and can start implementing these resources into their day-to-day advocacy and communications strategies. The WSA Academy will be hosting more of such interesting webinars in the second half of this year – to find out more, please visit: https://worldspiritsalliance.com/members/wsa-academy/
