Building Connections at the Official Celebration of the 78th Birthday of His Majesty King Charles III

WSA Updates

The World Spirits Alliance was delighted to join the UK Mission Geneva in celebrating His Majesty’s Birthday at a wonderful garden party hosted by hosted by His Excellency Kumar Iyer, the United Kingdom’s Ambassador and Permanent Representative to the United Nations, the World Trade Organization and other international organisations in Geneva, at the UK Mission Geneva. It was an evening that perfectly captured the value of partnership, dialogue and international collaboration while providing a fitting start to the summer season.

Set against the backdrop of a beautiful Geneva evening, guests enjoyed the warm hospitality of the UK Mission alongside classic British refreshments, including a refreshing Pimm’s, generously supported by Diageo, and an excellent selection of Scotch whisky, courtesy of the Scotch Whisky Association.

Events like these are about much more than celebrating an occasion. They provide valuable opportunities for policymakers, industry leaders and international stakeholders to meet in an informal setting where conversations flow naturally, relationships are strengthened and new ideas emerge.

As a global voice for the spirits sector, WSA is proud to support opportunities that foster dialogue across sectors and borders. Bringing together diverse perspectives helps build mutual understanding and creates the foundation for future collaboration on the issues that matter most to our industry and the wider international community.

We extend our sincere thanks to the UK Mission Geneva and Kumar Iyer for hosting such a memorable evening, and to our members and partners whose support helped make the event so enjoyable.
