ABELAC Holds Summit on Spirits Sector’s Economic and Cultural Contribution

The Alianza de Bebidas Espirituosas de Latinoamérica y el Caribe (ABELAC) Summit brought together industry leaders, to explore strategies to enhance the spirits sector’s role within a rapidly evolving global landscape. At the heart of the exchanges were topics ranging from responsibility, cultural preservation, and economic impact. Among the distinguished participants were Helen Medina, CEO of the World Spirits Alliance (WSA); Dr. Patrick Antoine, Chair of the Trinidad and Tobago Beverage Alcohol Alliance; and Jorge Padilla, Managing Director at FTI Consulting, who share insights on navigating industry challenges and opportunities.

Strengthening Cooperation for Responsible Growth

The discussions highlighted the importance of a proactive approach to responsible drinking while while recognizing the economic and cultural significance of the spirits sector.

WSA and ABELAC are committed to:
