WSA Members were invited to a special roundtable workshop and Baijiu tasting dinner reception organised by the China Alcoholic Drinks Association (CADA), alongside the WSA Annual Meeting in Geneva last week.  It was a fruitful exchange between the various trade associations represented around the table, with keynote presentation on the Chinese Market Landscape and its Impact on Alcohol Beverage Industry, by Chairman Song Shuyu of CADA, and a presentation on European Market Trends and Outlook by Hervé Dumesny, Director General, SpiritsEUROPE.

We also heard from Dr. Marjana Martinic who presented a brief overview on the current Global Landscape of Alcohol & Health Policy. The bilingual session was moderated by Ziting Zhang, Secretary General of the Foreign Spirits Producers Association (FSPA).

The cultural and knowledge exchange went beyond the roundtable discussion, as the delegation proceeded for a dynamic Baijiu tasting dinner reception at a historic mansion located within the Parc des Eaux-Vives, hosted by the Baijiu producers. It was an evening not to be forgotten, and we look forward to cont   inued collaborations and dialogue with CADA.
